Obesity and chronic diseases
Obesity is associated with chronic diseases. While the hype surrounding weight-loss medications and injections is considered a miracle cure, do they actually provide long-term relief from chronic diseases?
Patients who resort to such medications have been overweight for some time. Even if they successfully lose weight, they wouldn't be able to cure their chronic illnesses. Rather, there's a risk that short-term weight loss could worsen existing, often undiagnosed, chronic cardiovascular and kidney diseases. "Slimmer, but sicker" isn't a sensible outcome!
Without molecular monitoring of proteomic analysis, no radical weight reduction is possible, no matter how healthy or overweight you are!
